VDM VS Blord: Why Wisdom Trumps Over Wealth
What sent BLord to prison was simply his ego, nothing else, not even VDM. After seeing all the evidence/charges against him, he should have pleaded guilty, tendered an apology, and paid for the damages. VDM will feel like the bigger man, come on social media to brag about it to feed his ego, but he will let it go.
It likely wouldn’t have cost him much, and he could have gone home to be with his family, focused on his business, and stayed away from social media fights.
We should pray that the government did not hijack this whole thing. If they did, that guy isn’t coming out anytime soon. Even VDM himself would struggle to fight for his release and still can't do anything.
Do you think the EFCC is happy with his constant bragging about defeating them in court? Do you think the City Boys Movement is happy with him? None of his tribesmen can come to his rescue, because those ones are already busy fighting to save their own necks.
In fact, I strongly believe that Omoyele Sowore must have seen the direction this would eventually go before making that comment. The problem I had with his approach was that, since VDM is his ally and part of his camp, he should have reached out to him privately first, had a discussion with his lawyer, Marshall, and only then shared the outcome publicly.
King Solomon knew why he asked God for wisdom instead of wealth. Wealth comes and goes, power fades, but wisdom guides every decision, protects you from disaster.
