Is the Global Oil Supply at Risk? Analyzing the Attacks on Russian Refineries
Russia was just hit by Ukraine… 😱
When everyone will think Putin will be securing his nations, he’s out there wanting to capitalize on the online Iran vs US & Israel banter,
Now hand don meet am.
Ukraine just hit one of Russia’s biggest oil refineries again… and this is bigger than many people think.
This is no longer just a battlefield war.
Ukraine is now clearly trying to hit Russia’s money and fuel system, the very thing helping it keep the war going.
By attacking major oil refineries, Ukraine isn’t just causing damage…
It is trying to weaken: fuel supply, military movement, exports, and war funding
And that’s a serious move.
What makes it even more intense is that these attacks are often done with long-range drones, meaning Ukraine is now able to strike deeper inside Russian territory than before.
Ukraine said the other day, that they have the best drones in the international market,
That alone changes the game.
But this may not stop with just Russia and Ukraine.
Because Russia is one of the world’s biggest oil producers.
So if these refinery attacks continue, the effect could spread beyond the war and begin to affect global oil supply and fuel prices too.
In simple terms:
If Russia’s energy system keeps getting hit, the whole world may eventually feel it.
This war is no longer only about land.
It is now also about fuel, money, pressure, and who can last longer.
And that’s where things get even more dangerous.
Expect more fuel price hikes in Nigeria and everywhere,
2027, fuel could be N2500 per liter 😌 or even $10 per gallon for those in the US.
